Project: Design-Build Renovation of USAF Recruiting Service Command Headquarters
Location: Randolph AFB, Texas Client: Department of the Air Force, Randolph AFB, Texas Scope: DAWSON was contracted by Randolph AFB to upgrade the USAF Recruiting Service Command Headquarters building. With Government provided 30% design, DAWSON partnered with the Civil Engineering Squadron and Recruiting Command customers to complete the design to reflect their current needs and expectations. Construction activities included the complete demolition of interior, abatement of lead based paint and asbestos, and complete reconstruction of all architectural elements along with the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This work was ongoing while the remainder of the facility was occupied and DAWSON worked with the user to maintain operational continuity, and finished ahead of schedule and on budget. |

Project: DESC Fuel System Repair and Upgrade
Location: Mike Docks, Pearl Harbor Hawaii Client: NAVFAC Pacific Scope: The NAVFAC Pacific retained DAWSON to complete this fuel system repair project in support of the Defense Energy Support Center. The project provided for the repair and Replacement of sections of the F-76 main fuel line on Mike Docks at Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii. The M-1 through M-4 Dock project included fuel pier valve and catchment basin replacement, oversight of ultrasonic thickness testing for 2,300 linear-feet of fuel pipeline and modifications to fuel Valve chambers at 2-acres of active Navy piers. |

Project: Multiple SABER Projects
Location: Lackland AFB, Hawaii Client: US Department of the Air Force Scope: Under DAWSON’s $9.8M SABER contract at Lackland AFB, the DAWSON Team has executed $3.2M in construction, renovation, and repair projects in support of the base’s civil engineering mission. Under this contract, the following types of construction projects have been performed: facility renovations, asbestos and lead based paint abatement, parking lot construction, and utility infrastructure upgrades. |
