Project: Install In’Flector Insulating Panels
Location: Secured Facility B2000 – Lackland AFB, Texas Client: Department of the Air Force, Lackland AFB, Texas Scope: DAWSON was contracted by Lackland AFB to employ our exclusive licensing agreement to manufacture and install In’Flector insulating panels throughout the HQ AFISR facility (B2000). Under this energy conservation project, DAWSON provided for the survey, manufacturing, and installation of approximately 15,000 square feet of In’Flector insulating panels to improve the energy efficiency of the building envelope. All work occurred within a secured environment and the USAF estimates that this project will result in approximately $100K saving to their annual utility costs. |

Project: Energy Conservation Upgrades
Location: Lackland AFB, Texas Client: Department of the Air Force, Lackland AFB, Texas Scope: DAWSON was contracted by Lackland AFB to provide energy conservation solutions to the chemical warfare training facility B4988. To reduce the possibility of heat stress to training personnel, especially during summer months, DAWSON provided for the installation of a “white roof” insulating system along with low-power consuming industrial fans, which resulted in a cooler and safer training environment for the military personnel. DAWSON also installed associated electrical and lightning protection equipment to ensure efficient functionality of the systems. |

Project: White Roof Installation
Location: Camp Gruber, Oklahoma Client: Falcon Containers Scope: Under this urgent requirement, DAWSON provided an alternative roofing solution to support our customer’s construction of a modular training facility used to conduct after-action reporting during training exercises at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. DAWSON’s solution provided not only a more cost effective roofing solution, but also included an energy conservation advantage through the patented white-roof system. The customer now has a more energy efficient building that will reduce the life-cycle costs of the facility through improved operational efficiency of the mechanical and electrical systems. |
